The concept for Any Road to Everywhere relates to the idea that the world is accessible, and if you have a desire to live in other countries, to experience other cultures, at a certain point it is crucial to just pick a direction and go.
Ehren and Evalynn are a travel enthusiast couple who aspire to become location independent. Coming to this realization and choosing a direction has not come easily. The process of deciding to transition from a steady job in a static location to working and living internationally is daunting. The number of possibilities can be overwhelming; do you try to get a work visa, start a successful business, find a job that will allow you to work remotely online or house-sit/work-away? The resources available these days are almost as scattered; podcasts, books, blogs, coaches and courses for every direction you might choose.
The hope is that you will find some information, inspiration or destination here that influences you in some positive way. What we would like from this site is to connect with people everywhere – especially the curious sort – and learn from you. So, good luck on your journey. Keep an eye out for us because someday soon, you just might find us on your way down Any Road.
As of July 2019, when AnyRoadToEverywhere.com was started:
Ehren is 44 years old and maintains the critical I.T. infrastructure for a food
manufacturing company. Evalynn is 36 and is a night auditor for a hotel chain. We
have been considering international employment and/or location independence for
about a year and acting on it since January. We live in Tennessee and started
with $0 in our savings, $0 in debt, 2 compact cars but otherwise no property
for equity and a combined income of ~$100,000 USD/year.
